“Drop the knife and get a life”

The current PBL project is about raising awareness of gang crime and knife crime.  The students will be showcasing their work at a final exhibition on 21st March, which will be a performance plus their journey of how they got to their final product.

There are three groups and each group team leader chose their team to work with, thinking about the strengths and weaknesses of their peers in order to help them succeed with the project.

Here are the different groups:

  • Music group –  writing a rap/grime track about anti-knife crime, not only the lyrics but what music it should accompany.
  • Art and Literacy group – designing the graffiti back drops for the final performance and creating an ‘Urban Dictionary’.
  • Performing Arts – creating and producing a music video to support the music track

More on the way!
